Donation guidelines

B.D. Owens Library staff strives to provide relevant and popular resources that support our patrons scholastically and personally. To support this goal, we will gladly accept donations of items with copyright dates that are five years old or newer. Larger donations of full boxes of books or more must meet the five year copyright requirement and prior contact needs made with the library staff before drop off. All items donated become the property of the Library. The Library staff cannot determine the value of a donation; for tax purposes, the donor will receive an email receipt with the number of items donated. Items not suitable for the library collection will be repurposed or disposed of at the Library’s discretion.
